Piano Suite “Prabhutaratna” (The Highest Realm of Life) – Guan Xia (b. 1957)

The Piano Suite is based on a novel written by Yu Shi, inspired by a Buddhist philosophy that the universe is comprised of the 8 elements: earth, water, fire, air, awareness, knowledge and truth. When all the elements are achieved, the highest realm of existence can then be attained.
